Who we are
About ISCEST
Established in 2014, ISCEST Nigeria is a non-profit professional association dedicated to promoting research, education, and practical application in comparative education, applied science, and emerging technologies.
Our mission
ISCEST exists to connect researchers, engineers, and students working at the intersection of computing and engineering, and to give their work a rigorous, well-supported path to publication and peer review.
We do this through an annual conference, a family of peer-reviewed journals, and a membership community with active regional chapters.
Governance
The society is led by an elected executive board and a technical committee drawn from member institutions across Nigeria, supported by volunteer editors and chapter coordinators.
Board elections are held every two years and are open to all members in good standing.

Milestones
ISCEST Nigeria founded
The International Society for Comparative Education, Science and Technology (ISCEST), Nigeria was founded in 2014, holding its inaugural conference in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, from December 7–11, 2014. It was established by its founding president, Professor Steve Azaiki
First peer-reviewed journal launched
The interdisciplinary journal was established following the society's inaugural conference to publish original research, policy evaluations, and academic studies across education, science, and technology.
Membership passes 4,000
ISCEST Nigeria opened its 13th annual conference 2026 in Niger Delta University NDU, Wilberforce Island Bayelsa State.
